PK was equally loved and hated by the Indian audience due to its critical take on religion. In this movie, Aamir plays the role of a lost alien, who his literally alien to India’s religious differences and belief in God. The way he questions the blind faith people have on God and God’s existence, was outstanding. His acting took the movie to a whole new level.
Mahaveer Singh Phogat in Dangal
Dangal was based on the Phogat sisters and how they made their way into wrestling. Khan was actually insecure about his role will affect his body and whether his fans would accept him in such a role. He took it as a challenge and the rest is history! His ‘fat to fit’ transformation which he had to undergo for the movie went viral on the internet. His dedication level for the movie was the talk of the town for many many months.
Saahir and Samar in Dhoom 3
Dhoom 3 really posed a challenge for Aamir Khan, because the plot expected him not only to play a negative role but also to play a double role. It was the first time Indian audience witnessed Aamir as a villain.

This movie directed by Advait Chandan, Aamir is seen in a totally different and flashy character. Aamir as Shakti Kumar is shown as a flirty, notorious, egotistical, song producer who is heading towards his own doom. This movie gave Aamir a whole new look, stature, and angle to his personality.
