1. He started really young, he was only 4 years old when he started acting. His first film was a Telugu film, called Needa. He then went on to do films like; Anna Thammadu, Mugguru, Kodukulu, Kaduku Diddina, Kapuram, Bala Chandrudu, etc. as a child artist.
2. He only debuted as a lead actor in Raja Kumarudu, after he had acted in nine filmsHe has won 5 Filmfare Awards for Best Actor and 3 Nandi Awards awards as best actor besides 4 in other categories.
3. He was ranked first place in the Times most desirable men in India 2013, beating actors like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

5. He has sung for his own film, Businessman and proved he has that talent too.
6. He is married to former Bollywood actress, Namrata Shirodkar.
