Who Is Raai Laxmi?
Raai Laxmi may be debuting in Bollywood but she is as good as 50 films old in the South industry. She has starred in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and few Kannada films before this. Laxmi debuted at the age of 15 in a Tamil film titled KarkaKasadara in 2005. She made her Malayalam debut in 2007 opposite mega star Mohanlal.

In 2012, Raai Laxmi won the Stylish Star of South Indian Cinema – Female at SIIMA, 2012. She was also voted Best Actor Award in a negative role based on a poll that was conducted by Times Of India.
