When Tiger Shroff starred in his debut named Heropanti, an Indian action movie by Sajid Nadiadwala alongside Kriti Sanon, the critics became obsessed with this newcomer and couldn’t stop talking about him. They praised his performance and all the big names of B-town have pleasantly vouched for Tiger Shroff. Bollywood has its very own wide spectrum of young pedigree but one more man was added to it. His Real name and Lineage

Tiger, as grand and impressive as that sounds is unfortunately not his real name. It is Jai Hemant Shroff. Born of renowned actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha (Dutt) Shroff, this star kid turns 28 today (2nd March). He is also a brother to a younger sister Krishna with an age difference of almost 3 years. His maternal grandfather was a very renowned personality. He was the Air Vice Marshal – Ranjan Dutt who married a Belgian girl by the name of Claude-Marie de Cavey. His paternal grandfather, Kakubhai Shroff was an astrologer from Gujarat.

Tiger really had his heart set on sports and martial arts; not acting. In fact, he is thoroughly trained in martial arts which is why he can pull off such massive stunts with ease an finesse. His movies bear testimony to this. He was trained for almost three years by Ziley Mawai. He started martial arts training at the age of 4.

His Idols and beliefs and outlook

He idolizes Hrithik Roshan to the core and no wonder he has such super cool dance moves like Hrithik. He also loves Bruce Lee and Michael Jackson. Although he has starred mostly in action movies and is well-trained in martial arts, he is a Gandhian in the true sense of the term in real life. He abhors violence. He also believes in spirituality.

He has recently partnered with Mojostar to launch his own range of activewear named “Prowl”.

Tiger Shroff reportedly rejected a remake of the legendary TV series Fauji which featured SRK originally. Subhash Ghai was also very keen on launching him in a remake of his own movie Hero starring his father, Jackie Shroff. Tiger Shroff had, however, declined the offer, as he did not want that obvious comparison with his dad.

Upcoming Movies

His Baaghi 2 is all set to release on 30th March. He will also star in a sequel to Student of the Year and is presently shooting with his hero, Hrithik Roshan for a movie whose name is yet to be revealed. Here’s wishing Tiger a very happy birthday and best wishes for his upcoming work!
