South Indian Cinema has risen to popularity, thanks to movies like Baahubali, but there was one actor who was popular in India even before the southern movies trend.
Enter Allu Arjun, an Indian actor with a long list of Telegu films to his name. He has been in the industry for a really long time, starting as a child artist in Vijetha (1985). He made his adult debut officially with the famous love story Gangotri (2003).
Although his most famous movie is arguably Arya (2004), which won him a Filmfare Best Telegu Actor Award, he still has managed to keep up his popularity with recent movies as well. As he turns 35 today, (8th April, 2018) let’s take a look at the most popular movies done by him recently:

Directed by Harish Shankar, this comedy film stars Pooja Hegde opposite Allu Arjun. DJ is Allu Arjun in the movie, who is trained to become an encounter specialist, who would fight crime under the disguise of a priest.
The Fight Against Corruption In Sarrainodu (2016)

Sarrainodu, which means “the right person”, shows Gana (Allu Arjun) as a man against corruption, who had been in the military previously. He is, however, stuck in confusion, when his lady love requests him to stop his violent ways, if he wanted to marry her.
The Action Drama S/O Satyamurthy (2015)

In this movie, the actor plays the role of Viraj Anand who is the son of a rich businessman. As fate would have it, his father dies in a car accident, leaving his property to Viraj. Viraj lets go of the property and the move to make sure that his father’s name is not tarnished and begins his journey of living up to the values and morals of his father.
The Story Of Two Brothers – Race Gurram (2014)

In this movie, which unfolds the story of two brothers, Allu Arjun plays the role of Lakhshman Prasad, or Lucky. With co actors like Shruti Haasan, Shaam, Brahmanandam and Ravi Kishan, the story explores the story of rules vs. choices. It’s a very interesting movie to watch with the whole family.
The Romantic Action Movie Iddarammayilatho (2014)

This film is a classic story of girl meets boy, but with a twist. It stars Allu Arjun, Amala Paul and Catherine Tresa. It has a comic approach to a heart-warming story and with plenty of action sequences to keep the youngsters interested.
Allu Arjun, who recently just celebrated his son’s birthday, has stolen the hearts of the country, and hopefully he will continue to do it year after year. Here’s wishing him a very happy birthday!
