While some are still getting over the heartbreak of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone being hitched for life and some getting over the envious photos of the wedding venue and the beautiful wedding outfits of DeepVeer, there is news of yet another celebrity wedding!
The wedding season is literally here with a bang! Deepika and Ranveer just got married in the beautiful and scenic Lake Como. The two like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had a fairytale wedding and now it’s the turn of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas to celebrate their big day, very much in fairytale style, but the couple has chosen a royal palace in India as their wedding venue.
Priyanka’s family is leaving no stones unturned to make her feel like a true Indian princess and the preparations for the same have already begun at Jodhpur’s Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace. Yes, that’s exactly where the two will say “I do!”
Speaking to HotFridayTalks, a close source tells us that the wedding ceremonies are all set to start from 30 November and will go on till 2 December. The source also tells us that the main ceremony will take place on 1 December. However, the celebrations started much earlier in August, when the couple got engaged in a lavish engagement ceremony party in Mumbai. There was another party two weeks later and this time it was a Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired bridal shower at the Blue Box Cafe. That was followed by a bachelorette party in Amsterdam a week later, where she was accompanied by some of her close friends, sister Parineeti Chopra and sister in law and Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner. Priyanka shared all the pictures on her social media.
The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace is home to the former royal family of Jodhpur and it boasts of 347 rooms. Knowing the number of guests from both the families who will be attending this lavish wedding, we’re sure most of the rooms have been booked for the wedding already. As for the bridesmaids we’re sure Parineeti, Priyanka’s BFF Mubina Rattonsey and her manager Anjula Acharia and sister in law Sophie Turner, besides others are already on the list!
