Kartik Aaryan being hailed as the “Gen X star” is the new Bollywood sensation grabbing an array of films after the massive success of Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety. As newer star-kids crop up every day, it is often difficult to penetrate within the industry for non-star kids such as Aaryan. This project not only gives an opportunity to him so that he can venture out into mainstream Bollywood cinema but also pairs him up with another Bollywood beauty Jacqueline Fernandez.

This film is a remake of the much acclaimed Kannada film Kirik Party which was a massive success and ran for 150 days. With Kyta Productions coming into action to produce this film in Hindi, expectations are mounting on.
The film is slated to hit the floors in October this year for its making. Kartik Aaryan has been bagging one project after another following his success within the Luv Ranjan camp. His venturing out is not only an opportunity to get out of a stereotypical variety of roles but an opportunity for him to enter into the big Bollywood industry in the true sense of the terms.

As per reports, Kartik Aaryan has replaced Siddharth Malhotra in this movie. Malhotra who was originally chosen to play this role, is no more a part of the project with Jacqueline Fernandez. Audiences are always excited to see new pairs coming on screen, and the media is never too far away and always readily gushing over probable hookups. This new pairing of Jacqueline and Kartik only gives the media to foster more gossip about the “friendship” between the two if they hit up!
After Luka Chuppi, this is the second film he bagged and hopefully we don’t see any looking back for him now! The Kannada film remake is supposed to be a musical romance with engineering students as the plot binders. Though the plot does not promise to be extravagantly different, it is the type of film which Bollywood loves to make.
Excitement is building up about the shooting and releasing of this film steadily. The Kyta Production house just having a successful run with Parmanu, is involved in this project among many others. Though this does not seem to be a film like Parmanu was, the remake film promises to be entertaining. Here’s to hoping the film will fulfil audience expectations and satisfy the industry with a new sizzling chemistry!
