It seems like a comeback for Katrina Kaif. Her last movie, Zero, in which she starred with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, received a lukewarm response from the audience, and even her glamorous role as an alcohol addict did not win her many accolades at the box office. However, in B town it is all about taking your failures at your strides and coming back with a bang. Apparently, Rohit Shetty’s next movie, Sooryavanshi, will see Katrina Kaif get back in the game with the much-awaited bang.
Sooryavanshi is a continuation of Rohit Shetty’s immense devotion to cop drama. First, the two installments of Singham then came Simmba, and now we have Sooryavanshi, which is Shetty’s fourth film in the cop universe. Akshay Kumar recently took to his Twitter handle to inform the fans that the gorgeous Katrina Kaif will be starring opposite him Sooryavanshi and the fans obviously cannot keep calm because Katrina and Akshay are one of the most celebrated pairs of tinsel town. They have rocked the big screen with their scintillating performances in movies like Namastey London (2007), Sinngh Is King (2008), Welcome (2007). We know how well they have their chemistry on screen and we cannot wait much longer to catch a glimpse of this beautiful pair all over again.
Sooryavanshi will be Katrina Kaif’s sixth film with Khiladi Kumar and we are certain that this movie will go a long way. The movie has been directed by Rohit Shetty and Sooryavanshi will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Shetty’s Rohit Shetty Picturez, Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment.
This movie is all set to bring out Rohit Shetty’s acumen with the genre of cop drama as he did grab some eyeballs after the spectacular hit of Simmba. Sooryavanshi will be seen walking in the shoes of an anti-terror squad officer. He is the very same officer who was introduced to the world in the final minutes of Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, which released in 2018. This is what we love about Shetty’s movies, that is, he always gives us something to look forward to after his movies. There is always hope for a sequel or something similar to one.
The title of the film calls to mind another movie of the same name which released in 1992. That film had Salman Khan in it and it was all about reincarnation, but this one, with Akshay and Katrina, will obviously have a different tale to tell.
Sooryavanshi will see Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif after Tees Maar Khan and we are very enthusiastic about the movie. Sooryavanshi will hit the big screens in 2020, and we hope Sooryavanshi makes it big at the box office.
