Since he makes each episode of the quiz show very special, the team of KBC came up with a unique idea to make to make Amitabh’s 75th birthday special too. As the actor turns 75 on 11th October, the team of KBC 9 had a pre-birthday surprise for him on the set, something he too had never thought of and came as a complete surprise for him.
Much to his surprise, the KBC 9 team created a special video that had students and professors of the Sherwood College, Nainital, where he had graduated from. In the backdrop of the college that was decorated by many life-size posters of Bachchan, not only did they sing birthday songs but also praised and thanked him for giving them many special moments in his 17-year long stint in KBC!
Besides that, the team also had his favorite singer Niladri Kumar perform for him, making his birthday extra special. Amitabh was delighted to see his college and the love and affection the students showed for him. It made him extremely happy and emotional. So much so, that he was teary-eyed while watching the video. The audience present on set also started signing birthday wishes for him. This was truly one of the most special and well deserved birthday celebrations for Amitabh.
