Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju, based on the life on actor Sanjay Dutt has been very well received at the box office and Sanju also goes ahead to mark the highest Sunday ever for a Hindi film. It has broken the record of Baahubali 2 as well!
While Sanjay Dutt is happy that the film has been liked by the audience, he gives full credit to the director Rajkumar Hirani and also the actors especially Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. At an event, Sanjay said,“Ranbir is extraordinary in the film. The film is fantastic! Vicky Kaushal too has done a very good job. “Speaking about the Sanju as a film, Sanjay said that nothing but the truth has been shown in the film.

Sanjay who is getting ready with his next release Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster said that he enjoys doing all genres of films. He says his character in this film is an emotional one. “ The film is a completely different level,” added Sanjay.
Speaking about playing the role of a gangster in most of his films, Sanjay said that it is not a deliberate choice and he likes to do films that he is comfortable with.”I do what is told, so I do not prepare much for my roles,” added Sanjay.
Sanjay also joked that he thinks that he has a gangster within him as he is mostly offered such roles. He joked, “I think I have a gangster within me. Ever since I got out of jail, people had been saying that they need a gangster and I am a polished khandani gangster!”
