Parineeti Chopra has a lot to be happy and excited about. Her latest release Golmaal Again has been the blockbuster of the year and she’s riding high on the success of the film. Parineeti who is known to be a versatile actress will soon be seen in a completely different avatar in Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar.
Dibakar who is known for creating interesting characters in his films will be giving Parineeti’s character an interesting new look as an ambitious girl from the corporate world. Interestingly Parineeti is a graduate of the Manchester Business School, she finally gets to play a character close to her real life.
Parineeti says, “I’m playing a fiercely ambitious girl from the corporate world. She is based in Delhi and she is extremely clear about what she wants from life. She is the perfect example of how you would describe a girl who has a single-point-focus about her career. She is the heroine of a Dibakar Banerjee film. She will have her quirk, she will stand out for her qualities and intentions. I have never played a character like this and I’m extremely excited that Dibakar is presenting me in an avatar that no one has ever seen me in.”
Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar also stars Arjun Kapoor who plays the role of a Haryanvi cop. Arjun had earlier shared his look from the film. In the images sent by YRF, Parineeti looks every bit the corporate woman with a black blazer and striped shirt.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Farmar is set to release on 3 August 2018.
