As we all know that in the film, AB plays a 102-year-old father and Rishi plays his 75-year-old son. According to Umesh, a few days after the film went on floors, they were all shooting for a scene at a set that was constructed in Mumbai for the film. In the particular scene they were shooting, Amitabh was supposed to be asleep on the bed, while Rishi walks in to see him, watches him sleep and walks out. While the scene went perfectly fine, Umesh was happy with it and shouted “Cut!” but to his surprise, Amitabh kept sleeping, he wouldn’t get up even! Umesh says, “It was around the 12th or 15th day of our shoot, I explained the scene to both of them and we went on to shoot. I took the shot, said Cut! But Bachchan Saab wouldn’t wake up. All of us were in a dilemma as to what to do. The lights needed to be shifted and we needed to get ready for the next shot but nobody dared to go to him and wake him up. Finally, since I am the director of the film, I gathered some courage and went to wake him up. I told him, Sir, the shot is over. He woke up and said the most beautiful thing to me. He said; ‘In just these 15 days, I am feeling like this set is my home.’ When he said that he got the feel of a home on our set, it was the most rewarding thing for me.”

This says Umesh will always be a very special memory of the film for him, one that will always stay with him. Looks like Big B has finally found a cure for his insomnia; The set of 102!
