Sonam Kapoor’s upcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is causing massive waves thanks to its subject. The film for the first time deals with a lesbian romance. The film is being hailed for its storyline and especially kudos to Sonam for taking up this role.
While the trailer introduced us to Sonam’s character and Anil Kapoor who will be seen playing her father on screen for the first time, we were not shown a glimpse of the girl who Sonam’s character falls in love with. There’s also the ultra-talented, Rajkummar Rao in this film.
Well, in the recently released song Ishq Mitha, we finally got to see the other lead from the film who is Regina Cassandra.
Regina May Be A Bollywood Debutante But She’s Acted In South Before

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will be Regina’s Bollywood debut but the actress has already made her presence felt on-screen in the South industry. She has previously been a part of Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. In 2012, she even won a SIMA award for best debut in the Telugu industry.

Regina started off young like many actors. She was the anchor for a Splash, a kids channel. Further on, she was even seen in several commercials before making her acting debut. She made her screen debut in Tamil cinema with Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005) and her Telugu debut with Shiva Manasulo Shruti in 2012.
It will be interesting to see Regina in a challenging role with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. In the song released recently, it does seem like Sonam and Regina share a great camaraderie. We are definitely looking forward to Regina’s Bollywood debut!
