Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat are well-known actors in Bollywood and have starred in many movies in their career. Now, it’s time for their, Aditya, to make an appearance in the industry. In fact, Anurag Kashyap will be launching him in his latest movie titled “Bumfaad”. The movie will be directed by the debutant director Ranjan Chandel and presented by Kashyap. It is said to be an intense story set in the city of Allahabad, and we are eager to know more about the scene.

Aditya will be paired opposite Shalini Pandey, who has made a powerful debut with the commercially successful Telugu drama, “Arjun Reddy”. Pandey has acted in many other Tamil and Telugu movies, that have been well-received by the critics. “Bumfaad” was primarily shot in Kanpur under great secrecy, and is now in the post-production process. The movie features Vijay Varma and Jatin Sarna in the leading roles as well, but there are no further reports on the casting.
According to sources, Kashyap has collaborated with Ranjan since his writing and assisting days. The movie will be produced by Ajay Rai, Alan McAlex and Pradeep Kumar, along with Kashyap himself. In fact, Kashyap and Rai have worked together on the movies “Gulaal” and “Dev D”. Ranjan says that Aditya and Shalini have been a good choice for the movie, though he had other stars audition for the role as well. Though Pandey is a well-known name in the South Indian movie industry and Aditya’s parents have been great stars in their name, they have remained grounded and sincere. They had to attend a workshop for one month before the movie released, and Aditya had accompanied the director on his movie site survey as well.

When asked about the unusual name, Ranjan replied that ‘bumfaad’ is a common North Indian slang which fits in well with the plotline. Though the movie is set to be released in a couple of months, the makers haven’t yet finalised a release date.
With the successful entry of Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor Ananya Pandey and Ishan Khatter in Bollywood, we hope that Aditya Rawal and Shalini Pandey are known for their work in Bollywood as well.
