Generation after generation, boyfriends and girlfriends, have been obsessed with the idea of becoming or finding THE ONE! Not everyone you date will give you that vibe. You don’t fall in love with everyone you go out with. It happens once in a very long while that you actually feel like she is “miss right”. On most of the other times you are only dating a “miss right now”.

But then of course, there are always those who *fall in love* every single time they date someone. (I am sure you have one such friend) They don’t know what “going with the flow” even means. If he is dating someone, then he intends to marry her or at least he’ll think about. Just imagine! All the girlfriends he has ever been with have all been “miss right” for him. While his girlfriend is not even thinking about the future, he has probably named their first born! *inserts audience laughter*

All said and done, who are YOU dating currently?

Let’s See Where This Goes

This is the most common notion of dating culture, especially today! The idea of let’s see where it goes comes when you are dating a “miss right now”. You are just enjoying your relationship. You like her and you like being around her. You find her pretty cool! You seriously want to give this a shot! And that’s it. No huge expectations of a “together forever” or “love in first sight” and what not. Just living in the moment! Honestly, this could be very good for you because it is essential to give a relationship some time. Letting your relationship grow at its own pace will help you build a stronger and healthier relationship.

Also, do not be sad if it eventually doesn’t work out. The chances are that you’d have to go through a lot of Miss Right Now’s before Miss Right comes by!

This is what the best romantic stories are made of! It all starts with let’s see where it goes and eventually it goes right inside the marriage hall! So, it is okay to date a Miss Right now as long as she knows how you think of her. Do not make your girlfriend believe otherwise. Be one hundred percent honest with her and you will see how your relationship will build on this trust. There is no need to make a big deal out of these tags- be it Miss Right now or Miss Right. At the end of the day, it is all for the convenience of language and some word play of course.

We have all been someone else’s “Right now” and we have all dated our share of “Right now’s”. It takes a lot of work, love, and trust to finally become someone’s and make someone your “Miss right”. I sure as hell have found mine, I hope you do too!
