Indian Monsoons are more than just few beautiful rainy days. It’s an emotion, an experience and a special kind of fun. There’s a special kind of energy and vibe in the air. There can be no welcome party without food. If you are all ready to welcome the rainy days, do it in style without missing out on anything. So, what’s your choice of monsoon food? My personal favorite is Chai-Pakoda! And sometimes munching on a corn cob (bhutta) while watching the rain from the roadside vendor’s shade is all I do when it rains. The flavor and frangrance of corn is incredibly joyful. There are SO MANY options, just pick your favorite rainy day food item and your welcome party is good to go!

Do Not Be Scared

It is normal to feel some anxiety and certain kind of panic when it rains. It could be due to many reasons but believe it or not, it is fairly common. If you think it’s too much to handle, please consult a profession right away. But if it is just something you can handle it on your own, try to see rain in a positive light. Associate a good memory with rainfall. Try and appreciate the smell of soil after the first rain. Try to look around and recognize how much happiness monsoon really brings for so many of us. Try to make rainfall your friend.

A Walk After The Rain

A walk after rain will make you fall in love with Monsoon all over again.

Everything looks beautiful after rain. The trees, the road, the cars, the kids coming back on the ground and so on. It’s like the rainwater washes away all the negativity and helps us see something beautiful in everything around. Thus, this is the best time to go for a walk! The enjoyment that the rains bring do not have to stop with the rain. Go for a walk down to your street or a nearby park. Just try and appreciate the world around you. If you have someone to take along, it’s even better! The bottomline is to have fun 😉

Happy Monsoon to all of you! And don’t forget to make your special monsoon dance step!
