The whole world is reeling from the tragic and shocking news of the death of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain because there is only a handful who might not have liked him or his shows, books, articles etc. When news of Bourdain’s death broke, people flooded Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. with tributes praising him and his work. Yes, the world loved Anthony Bourdain!

One of my all-time favorite Anthony Bourdain quotes is; “Without experimentation, a willingness to ask questions and try new things, we shall surely become static, repetitive, and moribund.” Anthony was indeed an enthusiast in the true sense. Always ready to try the unexplored path.

He was known for his love for good food, adventure, the ease with which he made new friends but he will always be most remembered for all the interesting and wonderful stories he gave us of the world. Anyone who’s watched his shows will agree when I say that watching his shows always made you want to instantly pack your bags and go off on an adventure. But there was more to the man than that.
