It is a known fact that having pets can help us destress. Psychologists and doctors often suggest their patients to go for a pet to bring down depression, stress level, and loneliness. The most common choices for pets are fishes, cats, and dogs. We have also heard about some people who keep lions or tigers as pets. Like everything else, of course there are exceptions of people whose choices of pets are not-so-common.
Living In With A Llama
Nicole Doepper hails from Muelheim, Germany. She adopted a llama whom she named Socke. The cute yet huge creature has been living in Nicole’s house since its birth. Socke was injured by other animals and had to go through an amputation of a part of her leg. However, that does not stop Socke from following Nicole anywhere in the house.

Living in Manila, Allan Palaganas is famous aomg his circle of friends, relatives and more for the unusual pet that he keeps. Allan has an African Emperor scorpion as a pet. People cannot help looking at him with awe, disbelief, or fear when they see Allan letting the deadly species of scorpion crawl on his bare hands and palms.

Duo Jointly Owns A Dog-Sized Lizard As A Pet
MacGyver refuses to believe that he is an Argentine Red Tegu lizard. He strongly believes that he is a dog. The dog-sized lizard was adopted by the duo Scott and Ice, from San Diego, when they wanted a different kind of a pet. MacGyver was a tiny creature when he was brought in, but he grew quickly, and became the size of a dog. Like most dogs, MacGyver also loves to eat anything that he’s offered, chicken being his favourite; and he loves to snuggle up at anytime of the day.

Choosing Prickly Over Soft And Velvety
The prickly little creatures are quickly jumping the ladder of popularity amidst the list of pets. People are choosing these cute little prickly balls instead of soft and velvety, furry animals, as they require much lower maintenance, and emit very little body odour compared to other pets. Jennifer Crespo is a Massachusetts based breeder and trainer of hedgehogs. That Jennifer will choose a hedgehog as her own pet is an obvious fact. However, she does not stop at one and has a few of them in her house. Jambalaya and Salvation are the names of two of her hedgehogs.
