Thursdays are probably the most underappreciated day of the week. While Friday is undeniably hot and happening, Thursday isn’t far behind. No, Thursday isn’t a part of the deadly trio- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Also no, Thursday is also not a part of the lively trio Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Thursday is just what it is- a Thursday! Thursday is probably the day that provides balance to your otherwise messed up week. While it is far away from the #MondayBlues, it is extremely close to the #FridayFun and that’s exactly what makes Thursdays special. While we start the weekend with Friday night, we live through the excitement all day along on Thursday. Thursday is that necessary and exciting buildup to the end of the workweek and yet it is also the most comfortable and satisfying day of the workweek itself.

Of course yes, Friday night is the official start of the weekend. It is exciting, relieving, and just the best. But you know what it’s not? Thursday! When you start a week with Monday, you take at least a day or two to settle in and get over your “I miss weekend” drama. But by the time it’s Thursday, you are not only comfortable with your workweek, you are also extremely excited about the approaching weekend. The way I see it, it is the highlight of the entire week. Not only do you enjoy work, you also get to daydream about your weekend plans and drool over it.

Thursday Thoughts

While Friday is for planning for or kicking off the weekend and weekend is obviously for whatever the hell you want to do, Thursdays are for thinking! The most important exercise of all is to think and share your wisdom. Thursday, motivates you to do just that. While few believe Thursday is the most difficult to get by, I look at it like an opportunity to think, introspect, and discuss. You never know when and which of your #ThursdayThoughts ends up imparting really important life lessons for someone.

Early Bird Discounts

Most of the exciting SALE and special offers are meant for weekends, right? But what they don’t tell you is that the discounts normally start from Thursdays itself. So there are two big benefits if you can take some time out and visit your favorite store on Thursday. One, you get to choose from the maximum range of products as you find all the designs in-stock unlike weekends. Two, you get to rest or party on the weekends. Win Win, right? All because of Thursday!

Throwback Thursday

It is one of the most popular hashtags for a reason! #ThrowbackThursday gives you a golden opportunity to look back and recall your favorite memories in the form of photos, videos, or just random written accounts on social media. Not only it is fun, it is also quite emotional making that entire day special and charged up with positive energy. This Thursday, upload one of your embarrassing baby pictures and enjoy all the attention you get on social media.

Start A Good Habit!

The common practice is to start a good habit on Monday! But if you think about it, it’s practically the worst day to do it. With the workweek starting on Monday, you might already have a lot on your table in the form of new projects, meetings, targets and so on. Even if you really want to start a good habit, the Monday workload won’t allow you to. So,, when do we do it? Well, the best day is always “today” but if you HAVE TO plan it, it’s Thursday! By the time it’s Thursday, the pace of your workweek slows down considerably. You hardly have anything new to begin. So, how about a new good habit? Sounds perfect to me! Start with Thursday, repeat it on Friday, take a break over the weekend and by the time its Monday, you will only be continuing with your last week’s routine without any pressure of starting anything new.

Don’t you agree now? So instead of cribbing and wanting Thursday to get by quickly, slow down and observe just how special it is! If anything, you should be thankful! How about a #ThankfulThursday ?
