Some feelings unknowingly cause a lot of damage to us from within; one of them is resentment. How difficult is it to cope up with the resentment, somebody hurt you in the past and you are still carrying the weight of bitterness with you, has it helped you in any good way? Or every time you thought of it, it gave you a pain in your heart? Let’s see some ways to deal with the ugly feeling!
Let go of the things we don’t have control over-

Somethings, some situations are out of our control, we should learn to let go of such things. Resentment ingests you from within. It’s a feeling that is totally useless but extremely harmful. So it’s better to harmonize with ourselves and just let that feeling relinquish.
Forgive yourselves and others-

In order to forgive others, we should learn to ourselves first. Gone is gone. We can never have the same moments of pleasure twice in life then why let ugly moments stay with us forever? It should never overpower us in any way. If some incident hurts you, just settle it down in your subconscious mind and ask yourselves to forgive it and let go of those things. Similarly forgive those who hurt you in your past and just move on with your life. It does no good clinging onto things that affect us negatively.
Express yourself freely-

Take charge and responsibilities of your actions. Whatever you feel is unpleasant rather than thinking of it later; EXPRESS it there and there. Learn to express freely. Muster up your courage, speak up for yourself and don’t let resentment take over your life. Rather than holding onto that bitter feeling forever with you just express that you do not favor their behavior and it will be sorted.
Optimistic look out over everything-

Do you know what affects our life the most? It is the pattern of our thinking. In a past few months I have been reading number of books on our subconscious mind; all they have to say in common is that the pattern of our thinking holds the greatest effect on our life. In every situation we need to be strong and extremely optimistic towards our life.

Gathering our senses, thoughts, mind and relaxing our body is what idea I have of meditation. Everybody has their own way of meditation but what results it gives is mostly the same. It relaxes you from within. Makes you stronger and healthier from within; helps fight the feeling of bitterness and heart burn which stays within because of resentment. Especially early morning meditation gives out best results as its quiet and serene in the morning.

Researchers say, that a feeling of resentment is so harmful that it can give a person heart attack, insomnia, indigestion, cancer and many other diseases. It holds that much power to affect you internally. Why do you want to hold on to such a feeling? Just LET IT Go! We all have just one life to live; live it as a gift. Don’t let negative thoughts overpower you. Life is so beautiful give it your best.
