If you think that you or someone you know is suffering from a heat stroke, you can try these methods below.

  • Grate some onion and apply the juice at the back of the ears as well as on the chest area. This will help to immediately bring down the body temperature to a normal level.
  • Put some tamarind in boiling water, let it rest for a while and then strain the water. Add a little bit of sugar to this mix and stir it together. Sip on this slowly. Tamarind contains a mix of minerals, electrolytes and vitamins that will help to bring down your body’s temperature to normal levels. Sugar will stabilize your blood pressure levels and prevent you from feeling dizzy.
  • Plums are rich in their antioxidant content and will also help to keep you hydrated. These will also relieve any muscle pain as they have anti-inflammatory properties. The best way to have these for a heat stroke is to soak them in water for some time, mash them and then strain the water. Drinking this will also cool down the body.

Even if you feel better after these remedies, make sure to get a doctor’s opinion to ensure your health is absolutely fine.
