These studies were done while keeping in mind other factors such as financial conditions, social factors and so on.

In yet another study involving adults who had coronary artery disease, it was found that those who remained alone were at a 2.4 times higher risk of cardiac death as compared to those who were involved in a loving relationship.

A study involving more than 3.5 million Americans found that those were married had healthier hearts, as compared to those who were not, including divorcees, widower and so on.
