Check if your mattress soothes your body and your surrounding environment is not noisy. Secondly, check if you have disturbing thoughts that woke you up. Thirdly, you may wake up frequently if you have had long naps in the day. This is an unhealthy practice.

What is the interval between your dinner time and sleep time? Remember it has to be before 2 hours of sleep time. Even if you are hungry, restrict only to milk as the chemical in it, L-tryptophan, prolongs your sleep. Secondly, set a regular routine to sleep so you sleep instantly you hit the bed. Finally, make sure your mind is calm so your emotional issues do not take a toll on your sleeping patter.

We do not want you to sleep for days but 8 hours is mandatory. For you to sleep peacefully, your daily routine should include 20 minutes of exercise and a balanced nutrition. Also stay away from your gadgets once you get into bed.

Your environment, comfort of pillow and mattress, lying position and activities are aspects that influence the peacefulness of your sleep. Pay attention to these to have a better sleep!
