If you’ve binge watched Lucifer and are a big fan, then chances are you may have been one of the many heartbroken fans when Fox decided not to go further with the next Season after Season 3. When Fox decided to cancel Lucifer after 3 seasons, some fans started a campaign on Twitter and Facebook dedicated to saving the show!
They say if you really try hard and pray for something you really want even the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it! Much to the fans delight, Netflix stepped in and saved the show by buying the fourth season of the show. Lucifer Season 4 will soon be on Netflix on 8 May 2019, almost exactly a year on from the day the series was first cancelled. The good news was revealed with a teaser trailer featuring star Tom Ellis emerging from a swimming pool.
What Can One Expect In Season 4?
The last season of Lucifer ended with Chloe finally seeing the actual face of Lucifer, right after he killed Lieutenant Marcus Pierce, the character played by Tom Welling. Season 4 is expected to revisit Chloe’s discovery about Lucifer.
Season 4 will have only 10 episodes, unlike the full 24 episodes like the last season. But since it’s being produced for Netflix, chances are there might be some episodes that are a bit longer.
Who Is The Cast Lucifer Season 4?
While actors Tom Ellis and Lauren German will reprise their roles as Lucifer Morningstar and Detective Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro and Lesley-Ann Brandt will also be back as Detective Dan Espinoza and Mazikeen, so will Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez and Rachael Harris as Dr Linda Martin.
The new actor to join the team of Lucifer Season 4, will be Prison Break star Inbar Levi, who will be joining as Eve, and Graham McTavish who will play as Father Kinley. The character of Angel Remiel will be played by newcomer Vinessa Vidotto.
For all those who have never watched Lucifer, it’s a fantasy comedy drama based on the Lucifer character created by Neil Gaiman for The Sandman comic-book series. It’s about Lucifer Morningstar, a fallen angel who’s bored with his role as the Lord of Hell, so becomes a consultant with the LAPD. He possesses the ability to make people tell him their hidden desires.
For fans of Lucifer, there’s a lot to look forward to and the wait is almost over.
