Actor Anil Kapoor has completed 35 years in Indian cinema and to mark that he shared the first look teaser poster of his upcoming film Fanney Khan. The poster is very different from others and has a quirky feel to it, making his fans curious. Anil took to his Twitter account to share the poster and wrote, “A dream in his eyes and a tune in his heart…”

While the poster of Fanney Khan is interesting with Anil Kapoor carrying a bag on his shoulder, a tiffin box in one hand and a trumpet in the other. As he’s looking towards some of the popular musicians of the bygone era, the words Taal n Talent can also be seen etched in the background. The poster brings back memories of Anil’s Woh Saat Din, in which he plays an aspiring music director.

In Fanney Khan too Anil plays an aspiring artist, who aims to make it big in the field of music. The teaser opens with the crowd cheering; “Fanney Khan!” and the voice over by Rajkumar Rao telling us what or who the film is about, while there are beautiful visuals of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s close up. Anil Kapoor’s introduction shot is of him sitting on a terrace looking dapper in a lungi, playing the saxophone. The visuals are beautiful and the film looks absolutely interesting. Anil Kapoor playing the trumpet donning a ‘lungi’ looks super sexy!
Fanney Khan was earlier being produced by KriArj Entertainment but was later taken up by Bhushan Kumar complete after the two had a fallout. Prior to that, the film has been mired in other controversies too with the actors; Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao refusing to shoot until their payments were cleared and the producers were given a deadline to clear the dues, that’s when Bhushan Kumar stepped in and took control of the situation. All’s well and now the film is all set for release.
Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao in the leads.
