If you are a 80s or 90s kid, chances are, you have been pushed to the cinema hall quite often to by your parents to watch the movie ‘Gadar – Ek Prem Katha’. After 17 years, the little ‘Jeetey’ from Gadar is set to be the lead in his own movie Genius. Yes, Utkarsh Sharma would be seen playing the lead in his father Anil Sharma’s new movie ‘Genius’.
As we proceeded with the teaser, the shots from ‘Gadar’ were skillfully shifted to the present scenario where we find Utkarsh at a college, falling head to heels for a woman, whose character would be played by Ishitha Chauhan. Yes, the cast is quite a fresh one, and the energy in the teaser is a proof of that.

But, the one familiar face we notice in the teaser is of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is supposedly playing an important character. The teaser also promises fight sequences and a lovey-dovey romance between the leads Utkarsh and Ishitha. The teaser is bright and colorful with few dramatic sequences to glue the audience to their phone screens.
We can also expect a stellar performance from Ishitha as the teaser has shown many sides of her acting already. And she looks very much like the typical Bollywood heroine we are accustomed to see. The music in the teaser is also quite interesting as it starts from a sweet tune and transforms into a raw one. We are immediately alarmed of the tension we would witness in the movie. Overall, from the teaser, we expect a power-packed movie filled with every known emotion.
