The trailer of Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again was released today, it’s the 4thinstallment in the Golmaal series and looking at the trailer seems to be yet another laugh riot! Golmaal Again looks bigger than the other Golmaal’s in terms of production value and the cast too. As Arshad Warsi mentioned at the press conference of the trailer release, there are 18 of them in the film besides the other characters too. He said, “Rohit is very clear about his characters and he handled everyone amazingly well.”
On being questioned about how many more sequels are there in the making, Ajay Devgn was quick to reply, “The more you like the movie, the more we will make. If this film is a superhit, then there will be more to come for sure.” To which Tusshar Kapoor added, “Being a part of four Golmaals has been like being on a paid vacation. It’s been great fun working with all of them and I am speechless just like Lakshman, my character in the earlier films. Thankfully in this one, I have a voice!”
The film is releasing at an apt time during the Diwali vacations and the fact that it has earlier been a huge hit with adults and kids alike loving the film, this looks like another fun filled hit for the makers. “It’s a different kind of humor, there is a lot of action in a comedy which makes the film different. We have a pension plan as Ajay has rightly said,” adds Arshad
Tabu jokes that she too hopes this is her pension plan. “I am a huge fan of the franchise. I always told Rohit that I want to be part of this gang. I got a call one day and Rohit said there is something good for me in this film. My happiness knew no bounds. I enjoyed a lot with this gang, it’s been like a picnic,” she says.
For Parineeti, this has been one of the most surreal experiences as when the first Golmaal released, she was just in school. Arshad interrupts her when she makes that statement and asks her in mock anger, ”Did you have to announce that to the media?” and Ajay adds, “Ya and now after a few years she will sit and watch Golmaal with her kids!”. Parineenti retorts saying, “These mad boys are perfect for this film! Every single day these boys along with Rohit would spend money and time to plan pranks. Shreyas had to go through patakas being burst behind his ears. I was sent in a wrong direction, in one of the locations. I think I have become a stronger person after this film because of all their pranks!” adds Parineeti.
Rohit jokes that he hasn’t blown up many cars in this film, unlike the other films because he’s on a detox, Ajay quickly corrects that and says “That’s not the reason, it’s because of the GST!”
It’s going to be a riot to watch all of them on the screen this Diwali. Like they say, there is no logic but just magic in the film. We’ll have to wait a bit to see that magic!
