Rangasthalam is a stage of a different kind!

There have been enough speculations about Ram Charan and Sukumar’s upcoming film, Rangasthalam right from the time the project was announced. Ever since the film was announced fans have been eagerly waiting for the film and the wait is finally getting over soon as the film releases on 30 March. The film was launched by Chiranjeevi in February 2017 and went on floors in April 2017.

Rangasthalam means stage in Telugu and that’s probably why there were rumours that the film is probably all about the stage and fans were wondering why it has been named so, but Sukumar cleared the doubts when he announced that it was actually because the Village they have shown in the film is like a stage and the people who live there are like the actors. The only difference is that the people in the village have real emotions and feelings unlike just actors acting on the stage. In this village when someone gets into trouble, the whole village comes together to help them or solve the problems. The entire story takes place in this village and the name of the village is Rangasthalam.

It is said that Sukumar was very particular about the tiniest detailing of the set and even went as far as getting the old gold spot bottles for the set to make it look authentic and even had nameplates of the village designed like back in the olden days. The film is said to be a romantic entertainer that has Ram Charan and Samantha playing the lead pair. This is the first time that the two will be seen together in a film.
