Shraddha Kapoor’s acting career seems to be on a roll. Starting off her life as star in Aashiqui 2, where she played the role of a singer, this pretty actor has come a long way. She has acted in myriad films since then and we have seen that this Baaghi star has not had to look back a lot. Her recent film Stree has proved it that with the right script and the right direction, she can deliver greater hits.

Shraddha Kapoor is all set to work for her next film, Chhichhore, which will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the one who directed Dangal. The film is going to be grand production of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and Sajid Nadiadwala is the producer. Chhichhore is a film that has something different about it. Going by the poster of the movie, it seems that the movie will depict two different generations. Shraddha Kapoor along with Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen playing double roles here, one of the somber and stern older generation and the other of a bubbly and cute younger generation.

If you have loved the Fukrey series, then you will definitely remember Varun Sharma, who was lovingly called Choocha. He too will be seen making an appearance in the movie. While a lot has not yet been revealed about this film of two generations, we are sure that the entire cast and crew of the film is too excited to work here. Shraddha Kapoor had also posted the picture of the first look of Chhichhore as she calls it a “timeless tale of timepass”.

There is another striking thing about the movie, and that is the tagline that came along with the poster. It said, “kutte ki dumm tedhi ki tedhi”. Well that gives us an insight that this one is going to make us roll on the floor laughing. Chhichhore must definitely talk about the chhichhorepanti of the generations that have been depicted here.

The shooting of the film has already begun and needless to say, Shraddha is immensely excited about it. We know this as she tweeted her excitement on starting the new journey. Following the trend even Varun Sharma tweeted about his elation on the vacations being over, signifying the beginning of “chhichhorepanti”. We are dying to know what the hero Sushant Singh Rajput has to say about it.

This work of comedy is set to hit the theatres on 30 th August, 2019.
