Anubhav Sinha is all excited about his next release, which is a social thriller and will star the skilled actress Taapsee Pannu and the veteran Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is all set to release on the 27th of July, 2018.

For Pannu this will be the second courtroom drama after her brilliantly portrayed role in Pink alongside Amitabh Bachchan, but this time, it seems the roles have been reversed, as she will be playing a lawyer in this movie. She is supposedly defending or speaking for Rishi Kapoor as we can guess from her recent tweet of a courtroom still, and she will be reportedly seen as Aarti, an honest lawyer who fights for justice of her client. The movie is produced by Deepa Mukut and Anubhav Sinha and will be presented to us by Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Kamal Mukut.

Sharing the same still as Taapsee did, Rishi Kapoor also tweeted about the movie’s release date. Kapoor reportedly seems to be happy with the concept of the movie too, as he has not done drama in a long time. Earlier he also expressed happiness over the fact that the shooting locations were Benaras and Lucknow, having heard great stories about these historic Indian cities.

We will also see Neena Gupta on the big screens after a long time. She will be playing the role of Rishi Kapoor’s wife in the movie. The movie also stars other talented actors like Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana, Rajat Kapoor and Manoj Pahwa.

Anubhav seems to have immense expectations from this movie and is happy, now that it has got a release date. Sinha collaborated with Mushtaq Shiekh to write the story of the movie. As per the plot, the movie is about how a joint family tries to get back their honor after they are wrongly stuck in a controversy.
Sinha is well-known for movies like Dus, Ra. One and Tum Bin and given the suspense and thrill that courtroom dramas contain, along with such a talented ensemble cast, we are all eager for the release of the movie.
