On the occasion of Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary, Yash Raj Films has announced that actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff will be starring in a film together. The film is being said to be an action thriller and will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is yet to be titled.
The shooting of the film will commence next year in April 2018. This will also mark the entry of Tiger Shroff to Yash Raj Films. Tiger has never worked with the production hose before and this will be his first film. While Hrithik has earlier done another action film, Dhoom, with Yash Raj Films.
While Hrithik will be returning to the Yash Raj banner after almost 11 years post the blockbuster, Dhoom 2, director Siddharth Anand began his career with Yash Raj’s Salaam Namaste, starring Saif Ali Khan and Preeti Zinta. He also did Tara Ra Rum Pum and Bachna Eh Haseeno under the Yash Raj Banner. He returns to Yash Raj with this slick contemporary action drama, which is slated to release on 25 January 2019.
This sure seems like a dream cast especially for all the action film fans, it will be the first time two super dancers and action heroes Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff will be coming together in a film. It also is a dream come true for Tiger Shroff who has always wanted to work under this banner. While his father actor Jackie Shroff has already done two films under the Yash Raj banner, Aurangzeb and Dhoom 3 where he had meaty roles, this will Tiger’s first under this banner. For Tiger, who loves to do dance and action films more than others, this seems to be the role for him. In one of his interviews earlier, Tiger told HFT that his favorite action film has been Krrish, which starred Hrithik as Krrish and now he actually gets to share screen space with him!
