Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra have been promoting their upcoming film Namastey England on their social media handles and the audience is now looking forward to the film, especially after all the fun ‘nok jhok’ the two of them keep getting into. The trailer of the film was released today and the 3-minute video gives us an insight into the fun-filled love story of the two.
Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah who earlier made Namastey London with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, Namastey England has Parineeti and Arjun as the main lead. In Namastey London, Akshay goes all the way to London to bring back his bride Katrina, in Namastey England it’s Arjun who travels to the UK to bring back his wife Parineeti!
The trailer opens with colourful visuals on Punjab where Arjun is seen as the quintessential Punjabi ‘munda’ who woos his lady love and eventually gets married to her. The two look happily married but then there’s a twist in the story, Parineeti is shown saying that women have no freedom to do things and they are misunderstood. That’s when trouble starts. An ambitious Parineeti goes to the UK and like Varun Dhawan in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Arjun follows her there to bring her back. The short trailer pretty much gives us a fair idea of how the story is headed. The film has a bit of everything from romance, comedy to drama and some action too!
The film has been shot all across from Punjab to Ludhiana, Amritsar, Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and of course London. Arjun and Parineeti look absolutely good together. Both of them being Punjabis in real life too, they look completely at ease in the characters they play. The film looks sweet, relatable and heart touching.
