Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 – All Set To Keep You Glued

Saheb, Biwi aur Gangster, Tigmangshu Dhulia’s action thriller series is getting a third instalment, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3. Set to release on 27th July of this year, the poster of this much anticipated movie was revealed recently as Sanjay Dutt shared it with his fans through his social media. “Iss bar khel mein hai aur zyada khatra aur dhoom! Pesh hai ek aur #SBG3Poster. Coming to cinemas on July 27,” read his tweet, along with the new poster which, apart from him, also features Chitrangada Singh, Mahie Gill and Jimmy Sheirgil.

The trailer of the movie, takes the anticipation and all the buzz created by the posters a notch higher. All the characters are in their action in the two minute plus trailer, that shows enough glimpses to strike up curiosity but not too much to give anything of the plot away. All of the actors look stunning in their respective avatars and if the movie is anything like its power-packed trailer, one thing is for sure- the audience is in for a wild ride.

It seems to be a good year for Sanjay Dutt as just a little after the success of his biopic Sanju, he is all set to make a full-fledged comeback, that too with a classic Tigmangshu Dhulia project, the director who has gifted Bollywood with the likes of Paan Singh Tomar and the Gangs of Wasseypur series of films. In this movie, the audience will get to see Sanjay Dutt playing the role of a gangster and even in the newly released poster, he looks every bit like a menacing fellow that you might not want to pick a fight with. Perhaps, in terms of the kind of the role, it is closest to his character of Kancha in Agneepath (2012) but in terms of the appearance of his avatar, it looks nothing like anything we have seen him before.

The movie also has Jimmy Shergill, Chitrangada Singh and Mahie Gill playing pivotal roles in the plot. Jimmy Shergill, over the past few years has quite built himself a good repute as an actor, especially through his portrayal of intense characters in critically acclaimed movies, the last one being Mukkabaaz. In this movie, he will again be playing the role of Saheb, the recurring character as well as the protagonist of the movie. The “biwi” to Jimmy’s “saheb” is none other than Mahie Gill, best known for her performance in Dev D. Mahie’s character too is a recurrent one in the franchise. Chitrangada Singh however, is a new addition in the cast and it would be exciting to see what kind of a role she is portraying in this project.

With such appealing posters and trailer already creating a buzz, we just need to wait for the movie to show its magic!
