Our ‘anna’ Rajnikanth is all set to explore his favorite genre again. Action movies and Rajnikanth go hand in hand, and this time, with ‘Kaala’, the magic is ten times more. With names like Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi and Eswari Rao in the cast, our ‘Thalaivar’ has left no stone unturned to make the trailer a must watch.

The movie which was supposed to release on the 27th of April has been scheduled to release on June 7th now. At the beginning, we find a raw Nana Patekar speaking over the phone, to wipe out the slums in his land, Dharavi. Nana Patekar’s role defined power and the usage of position. As the trailer advanced, we find Rajnikanth as Kaala Karikalan setting up the meter. There is even a slight hint at romance between Zareena, Huma Qureshi’s character and Kaala, Rajnikanth’s character in some parts of the trailer. Sometime during the end of the trailer, we even witness Kaala and his wife, portrayed by Eswari Rao having a heart-touching moment.
The trailer was full of riots and chaos. It depicted how the slums were being tortured and killed, owing to the phone call that Nana Patekar’s character Hari Dada made at the very start of the trailer.
In the very end of the trailer, we find an angry Rajinikanth leading an uprising, speaking of rebellious spirit and standing up for oneself. It is here that the trailer ends, but we could decipher that the movie would highlight many grave issues of the society. While we saw fights and bloodshed in the trailer, we are hoping to see some brilliant action from our ‘anna’ in the movie.

On the other hand, Dhanush, whose home productions Wunderbar Films is in charge of producing ‘Kaala’, has been very excited to work with his father-in-law. Dhanush’s twitter is more about ‘Kaala’ and less about his other projects now. He recently tweeted with the hashtags “#THEKINGARRIVES #KAALATrailer #KingKariKAALAnTrailer #Kaala #காலா #కాలా #कालाकरिकालन.”
As it is evident that ‘Kaala’ would bring out a different meaning to movies, we are assured that this would be one of the bests of Rajinikanth till date. So, for all the Rajni fans, “don’t miss your chance” of getting your first day first show tickets!
