The Lion King Teaser Is Nothing Short Of Amazing!

James Earl Jones is back as Mufasa

The two live-action remakes that I’ve absolutely enjoyed are Beauty and The Beast and The Jungle Book so I was very excited about the Lion King live-action teaser. This one too is directed by Jon Favreau who last directed the live-action remake of The Jungle Book.

We want the live action movies to be like the original animated movies but also like to see a little more, don’t we? Baby Simba is back to make our hearts melt with his cuteness. The teaser looks awesome, the music and the scenes are sure to bring back those memories of our childhood. Baby Simba is as adorable as the animated one.

In the trailer, we see Rafiki present a young Simba to the animals of the Pride Lands. There is the famous shot of Simba being held up for all to see, just like in the animated version of the movie and what gives you goosebumps is the original film’s opening track; Circle of Life that plays in the background.

James Earl Jones whose voice is ever so peaceful and comforting returns to reprise his role as Mufasa. You’re sure to get the chills when he says the familiar dialogue.“Everything the light touches is our kingdom, but a king’s time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, the sun will set on my time here and will rise with you as the new king.” The cast also includes Beyonce as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, Alfre Woodard as Simba’s mother Sarabi, John Kani as Rafiki, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, John Oliver as Zazu, Eric André as Azizi, and Billy Eichner as Timon, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Florence Kasumba as Shenzi.

The Lion King is produced by Disney and the film is scheduled to release on 19 July 2019. The live action Lion King is everything we loved about the animated Lion King and we just can’t wait to watch the film! What did you think of the teaser? Write to us and let us know
