Thugs Of Hindostan Trailer Review: A Film That Is Larger Than Life

After giving the audience a glimpse of the different characters and their look in the Thugs of Hindostan, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Llyod Owen, the makers; Yash Raj Films released a video of Amitabh and Aamir announcing the film’s release in Tamil and Telugu. In the video, both Amitabh and Aamir are seen speaking in these two languages to announce the news. Coming together on the big screen for the first time – Aamir and Amitabh have got fans really excited.

Today on the occasion of Yash Chopra’s 86th birth anniversary, Yash Raj Films launched the trailer of this mega action adventure. They sent out a grand invitation announcing the launch of the trailer.

Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the most awaited movies of 2018 and is said to be the biggest ever release in both Tamil and Telugu by a Bollywood film too. The Thugs of Hindostan trailer was unveiled on India’s biggest IMAX screen in Mumbai with the entire cast of the film present for the launch. According to the makers, the bigness of scale deserved a grand trailer launch and they wanted the first viewing of the trailer to be on the big screen for people to understand the grandness of Thugs. The film does look grand indeed!

This larger than life, visually immersive extravaganza, boasts of jaw-dropping action sequences, achieved a casting coup by bringing together two of the icons of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time on big screen.

Amitabh said, “Yash Chopra and I go a long way. From a small office to this huge banner its a very proud moment. They have always stood by me in my difficult times and its an honour to be here today.”

The film has some very exciting action and Fatima said, “The action scenes were tough. They made me work hard for it,” (Laughs).

Speaking about her role, Katrina too said that playing Suraiyya is an honour. Aamir who looks brilliant as a Thug in the film has some fun witty dialogues. “I miss my long hair that I’d grown for the film,” said Aamir.

Thugs of Hindostan promises to be an edge-of-the-seat adventure on the high seas, Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film is set to entertain audiences across age groups to a visual treat like never before when it releases on 8 November.
