The first song from Yash Raj Films most awaited and mega starrer Thugs of Hindostan is out. The song is titled Vashmalle and Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan can be seen making merry and just having a good time.
The first thought that comes to mind as soon as you see the film is Ranveer Singh’s dance moves in the Khalli Balli song from Padmavat. Vashmalle has the same tone and feel as Khalli Balli. Even the costumes and some of the expressions are similar to the Khalli Balli number.

Like Ranveer in Khalli Balli, both Amitabh and Aamir are high on energy and can be seen getting totally immersed in the song and letting their hair loose.
Thugs Of Hindostan has an incredible cast, bringing together two of the biggest icons of Hindi cinema Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time on big screen and to make this even more interesting, the two have even danced together in the film in this song which has been choreographed by Prabhu Deva.
The song has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Vishal Dadlani and lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya while composers Ajay-Atul have created this track. Thugs of Hindostan co-stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Director Vijay Krishna Acharya, said, “It is amazing that we could write a suitable moment in the film that sees these two icons of Indian cinema shake a leg with each other and the song will stand out because of their infectious energy and camaraderie. The song presents Mr. Bachchan and Aamir Khan in the mood to celebrate. I have to reveal, the sequence will show them getting drunk during the celebrations and then breaking out to dance on this high energy number. It is a priceless moment that we have captured in Thugs of Hindostan.”
It will be interesting to watch both these stars getting drunk and staying true to the meaning of Vashmalle; ‘dance your heart out and make merry.’ The two definitely seem to be doing exactly that in this song sequence!
