Shruti Haasan is known for several talents – acting, professional singing and directing among many others, and she’s always eager to try out new things. Always a rule-breaker, she will produce director Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan’s latest Tamil movie, “The Mosquito Philosophy” under the banner of Isidro Media.

The story is based on the concept of a middle-ground integration between traditional norms and modern beliefs through the eyes of four friends, and has already gained universal appeal for its unique content. Haasan believes in the potential reach and success of the movie, and encourages unconventional cinematic storytelling that breaks the boundaries and challenges conventional storytelling. She has been full of praise for Radhakrishnan’s creative vision and realistic conceptualisations to showcase different kinds of interesting and edgy stories, and hopes that the movie will bring forward a great start for a successful long-term working relationship.

Over to the director, Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan is reputed as a critically acclaimed director with the movie “Lens”. He considers himself fortunate to partner and connect with a creative team that believes in his project, vision and talent to show something to the country. He has experimented with the idea of ‘minimalism’ in the movie and has used little to no professional equipment to keep the feel as down-to-earth and realistic as possible.

“The Mosquito Philosophy” works on a basic storyline and has no scripted dialogues, along with the recruitment of as little cast and crew as required. Some sources suggest that Radhakrishnan has chosen a new of new actors to play the lead roles, to rule out any kind of stardom in the movie. He has explored with conversation and spontaneity in the movie, and has worked extremely hard to bring out the nuances of day-to-day life.

The movie has been shot in Tamil, yet people from all over the country are eagerly waiting for its release. The first look of the poster has been already released on 21 June, 2018. Shruti has already announced about the movie via a tweet. The makers of “The Mosquito Philosophy” have considered dubbing the movie in various several languages, and gear up for an international release. The release dates haven’t been confirmed as yet.

On the acting front, Haasan will be starring in Mahesh Manjrekar’s untitled Bollywood movie opposite Vidyut Jammwal, and collaborate with her father Kamal Haasan in the trilingual adventure movie “Sabaash Naidu”, inspired by the Tamil movie “Dasavathaaram” (2008).
