As human beings it is very obvious that sometimes all we care about, is ourselves. It happens with everybody, and when pushed to the boundaries, it can have some serious consequences.
I’d like to believe it’s no coincidence that the trailer of my first feature film, which is packed with actors I met and loved in the theatre, has landed on #WorldTheatreDay. No wonder the entire shoot felt like a cast party. Ladies and gents, #HighJack:https://t.co/2NXNw22GgW

Four unhappy employees of an airline company make a pact to forcefully earn their dues and seek revenge on their employers.
Why, you may ask. They find out that the company is about to be sold off, and the employees fired without any sort of payment! So, what they decide to do is, hijack a plane to retrieve the money!
Although it was a very foolish attempt to coerce the employers to pay them, they were not bad men. And because they have no real foul intentions to harm the passengers of the plane, they failed to think about the chaotic karma of their act. Added to the comedy and drama is the fact that the passengers of the plane have baggage of their own, and they unknowingly make things awry, making the group’s plans way too complicated for them to handle.
The recently released trailer shows how the employees plan for a hijack and it also gives us glimpses of some of the passengers (with a comic undertone). At the time of the take-off, the pilot advices to fasten the seatbelts and also warms that it’s going to be a bumpy ride, rhetorically. And then follows their course of action, the comedy and the drama!
The comedy cast includes the likes of Sunnet Vyas, Amey Wagh, Kumud Mishra and Mantra Mugdha in the lead roles. It also features the talented Sonnalli Seygall of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series fame, in a pivotal role. The movie is all set to be released on the 20th of April, 2018 and it promises to deliver to the audience the thrill of a airplane hijack without the associated dread. So, don’t forget to book your tickets for this ride!
