As Shah Rukh Khan turns another year older and awesome, fans all across the world have been eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of his upcoming film Zero. The makers have made the day even more special for him by releasing the trailer of this much awaited film on his birthday.
The invitation that we received for the trailer launch was signed by SRK’s screen character Bauua Singh. It was signed “Todha Sa Aapka aur baaki desh ka Bauua Singh.” And just like the interesting invitation, the trailer of Zero too is absolutely interesting.Looks like its going to be full of twists n turns.
Zero is one of his most-anticipated films of all time and the film has already garnered quite a buzz ever since it was announced. Zero also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in key roles. This will be the first time that Shah Rukh will be seen in a completely different role as a vertically challenged man.
The trailer at 3 minutes and 13 seconds long, is said to be one of the longest trailers in Bollywood. Shah Rukh gets the mannerisms and characteristics of his character Bauua absolutely from what we could see in the trailer.t
While SRK plays a vertically challenged man, Anushka will also be seen playing a wheelchair-bound character for the first time ever. Katrina, on the other hand, plays a superstar. Anushka and SRK have worked earlier in Anushka’s debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and after that in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Jab Harry Met Sejal. Anushka plays SRKs love interest in Zero.
The film is set in Meerut and Aanand L Rai has once again aced the portrayal of the small town milieu with perfection. The characters blend well with the setup and the actors fit into the shoes of the small town people perfectly.
Zero also features cameos from several Bollywood biggies including Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, R Madhavan, Abhay Deol and there is a special appearance from late actor Sridevi.
