More than a year after Aastha Gill released her first single, Buzz, she has gone ahead and launched her second single, titled Saara India. The singer, who is known for her close association with Badshah has truly gone solo in this one. This track has been composed by Mixsingh, with its lyrics having been penned by Nikk. It has also been blessed with a music video that’s available on the Sony Music India YouTube channel right now, and which has already garnered more than 2 million views in just one day.

Saara India has the singer convincing her lover to take her on a trip across India. Her heavily auto-tuned voice sings, “Tu mainu saara India, ghuma de sohneya. Na koi tere warga, dikha de sohneya. Tu mainu saara India, ghuma de sohneya.” The song itself is a huge step back from the kind of fresh music that Buzz brought with it. Saara India sounds like a generic offering that doesn’t impress with its music. As for Aastha’s voice, there’s no scope for her to impress owing to the mediocre composition.

The music video features Aastha Gill, along with Priyank Sharma. It has the two of them travelling to different locations in India after their car breaks down. About the video, Gill had this to say – “This shoot was a traveller’s delight and I distinctly remember travelling from one place to another. Apart from having a great time with the shoot for the song I also got to eat some delicious local food.”

Sony Music India Head, North Repertoire, Pawanesh Pajnu revealed, “As the name goes, the concept of the video needed for it to be shot across multiple locations and positioned as a journey film. The team travelled to multiple locations to get that local vibe and we are confident the music lovers will enjoy watching this fun, colourful video that releases tomorrow.”
