The third song from Salman Khan’s upcoming film Bharat has just been launched, and it’s called Aithey Aa. Apart from Salman, its music video also features Katrina Kaif showcasing some killer dance moves. This track has been composed by Vishal and Shekhar, while its lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The song is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Aithey Aa’s music video is set in 1983, just after India won the Cricket World Cup. It begins with Salman Khan’s voice saying, “1983. India World Cup jeet chuka tha. Lekin Bharat dil haar chuka tha,” referring to him falling in love with Katrina Kaif’s character. The video then introduces Katrina, and goes on to showcase their flirty relationship during what appears to be a wedding. Vaibhavi Merchant’s choreography really brings the video alive, and you can never praise Katrina’s dancing abilities enough. She is spectacular in this one.

Aithey Aa has been composed like a classic wedding song. This is evident through the heavy use of dholak and shehnai in its music. The vocals are provided by Akasa Singh, Neeti Mohan and Kamaal Khan. All three have done a great job at delivering the kind of energy that the song requires.

The first song to have been released from the soundtrack of Bharat was the peppy dance number, Slow Motion, which has Salman shaking a leg with Disha Patani. Then came Chashni, a romantic track sung beautifully by Abhijeet Srivastava. Aithey Aa is the third track from the album.

Bharat has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who had first worked with Salman in 2016. This film’s script is based on the story of a South Korean film named Ode to My Father. It traces the history of a man’s long life against the backdrop of important historical events that happened during this lifetime.

Like most Salman Khan films, Bharat will be released on Eid, which falls on June 5 this year. The film also stars Katrina Kaif, Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff.
