Like the immensely funny trailer of the movie that released last week was not enough, the Ayushmaan Khurrana starring, Badhaai Ho, has left Bollywood rolling on the floor laughing with the release of its first song, titled “badhaiyaan tenu”. The trailer of the song has our Vicky Donor thoroughly embarrassed because his mother is pregnant. He bears the burden of his parents much too active sex life and is disgusted by the consequences of it. The groovy beat of this funny number catches our attention as soon as the song begins and then drops the bomb as the hero reveals to his girlfriend, played by Sanya Malhotra, that his mum is going to give birth again.

This peppy number has been penned by Vayu and sung by Brijesh Shandailya, Romy, and Jordan. This coming-of-age movie has the very talented Neena Gupta, who plays the pivotal role of Ayushmaan Khurrana’s mother, the one who is the harbinger of all the comedy. The very plight and embarrassment portrayed by Ayushmaan adds to the funny element of the song as we all are left wondering indeed, “ab kya hoga re pyaare?” the song also shows innumerable people giving their own share of “badhaai” to Ayushmaan’s father and we also see how he deals with it in his own funny yet confused manner because, “maari thhi missed call hi lekin ho gaya answer ji!”

The song is nothing less than an entire episode of a stand-up comedian making us laugh. It makes us groove and move with its rhythmic music while at the same time we cannot help but keep laughing at the prospect of a woman getting pregnant at that ripe old age. The comic incidents, the tone of the song, and of course, the trailer of the song, are sure to make you do away with all your stress. And also, we can expect that from now onward, the topic of sex will not be that hushed up, thanks to this ultimate rocking number, which is woven with comedy while touching upon a sensitive topic of parents discussing sex with their kids, especially Indian parents.

The other main characters to be seen in this film are Surekha Sikri, Gajraj Rao, and Sheeba Chaddha. This stress buster of a movie, directed by Amit Sharma, is all to set to hit the theatres on 19th October.
