Just when we were missing the sultry exotic beauty Nargis Fakhri on screens, news has it that she is all set to make a comeback with Bhushan Patel’s next. Bollywood has seen it’s share of horror movies and most of them bringing a different flavour to the palette nonetheless. The teaser of Amavas is luring the audience and has successfully managed to convince us to believe that it will be a nerve chilling experience to say the least with considerable doses of horror. Nargis Fakhri and Sachiin Joshi are to star in it and while we may have been more or less sceptical about the chemistry between this couple on screen but the new music video from this movie elevates all our doubts.
Although the movie is out and out a horror movie whose basic premise is based on the darkness that unravels during the night of amavasya, the song is perhaps one of the few tracks from the movie that deals with a very different theme. It’s a sultry romantic track where Nargis and Sachiin are seen indulging in romantic excesses against a beautiful picturesque background. That’s not all, while Sachiin is all suited up for this one we cannot take our eyes off Nargis. She steals the show with her earthy looks and flowy dresses. The romantic track is sung by Ankit Tiwari and Sunidhi Chauhan none of who need any introduction. You will forget momentarily the outbreak of nighmares that the film is about to initiate and will catch yourself humming this happy song several times, yes, it is that great.
The beats are funky, the lyrics are beautifully penned, and the video is very nicely done. The sizzling chemistry between the two will also give you a reason to look forward to the movie which is all set to release on the 1st of February 2019. Give the song a listen if you haven’t already. It shows how horror movies are so much more than just jumpscares and incorporates such intricate details that are done beautifully.
