Out of the blue, Carryminati has released a music video titled Bye Pewdiepie, in which he has dissed the latter for his recent, much-publicized war with T-Series. But the joke’s on Carryminati since the popular YouTuber looks utterly out of place in a rap song that’s trying hard to portray him as a gully rapper. This is no doubt the product of the recent diss war among the gully rappers, which the YouTuber felt having a bite of.

Carryminati, who is known for his roast and gaming videos, has created a cringefest with this new video. One look at it, and you’ll wonder why he couldn’t have just said all this via a normal video, instead of doing this. The video starts off as a diss to Pewdiepie, and blames him for turning the whole world against India. The exact words he uses are, “Iss desh ke khilaf hui duniya. Kitni nikaloge hamari kamiyaan. Aaj nachega tu jaise ek chamiyaan.”

Yes, the rest of the song is as hammed up as this. Words seem like they’ve been added only because they rhyme and somehow formed into sentences so that they can fit the meter. Take these lines for instance – “Ankhein neeli ho ya kaali. Tum sab par hum hai bhaari. Kaale jaadu ki hai baari. Teri jha*t jaisi daadhi. Tujhe kal hai katwaani. Tere shauk hai nawabi. Dekho yeh hai tumhari bhabhi.” Tell us in the comments section if you could make any sense of these sentences.

The YouTuber also uses this song to diss Nazar Battu Productions for its diss track which had tried to irk many Indian YouTubers including Carryminati. Moreover, American YouTuber Ethan Klein has also been dragged in this song for saying India has a big population. The whole exercise just sounds like a sham, and an obvious attempt at strengthening the fan base by giving them what they love, which these days is diss tracks.

You’ll wince and squirm listening to Carryminati trying to imitate Raftaar and Emiway in this rap song. And you’ll be flummoxed by the fact that this video has managed to grab more than 4 million views in just 2 days, and is also the top trending video in India.

If Carryminati’s new music video is an indication of something, it’s of the fact that the standard of YouTube content in India is really on its way down.
