Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber have finally premiered the music video for their song, ‘I Don’t Care,’ which was released last month. This almost 4-minute video is filled with eccentric and absurd imagery that believe it or not, really does keep you hooked to your screens. It was released using the YouTube Premiere platform, which allows users to bookmark the clip and enter a chatroom prior to release.

‘I Don’t Care’ has the two singers singing about how they feel awkward at parties, but they would only visit them as long as they are with their love interests. The video in fact begins with a gloomy Ed Sheeran, badly Photoshopped into a party. Both Sheeran and Bieber have shot the entire video in front of green screens, and their avatars have been pasted onto whacky backgrounds for the fun of it. At one moment, they are at a pool party, while at the other, they have turned into corn cobs. They can be seen wearing bear and panda costumes, and even flying on magic carpets. All the while, one thing is consistent, an intentionally mediocre VFX job, which adds another level of fun to the video.

‘I Don’t Care’ is highlighted by its Caribbean-leaning tunes and excellent vocal performances by the two stars. The song is currently topping charts worldwide, and has broken a number of streaming records already. And with the music video now out, its popularity is set to increase furthermore.

This is not the first time that Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran have collaborated with each other. Love Yourself, one of the highlights of Justin’s 2015 album, Purpose, featured the writing skills of Sheeran in it. And Cold Water, the 2016 hit by Major Lazer, was written by Ed and featured vocals from Bieber.
