Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are leaving no stones unturned when it comes to promoting their upcoming film Sui Dhaga. The two have been travelling to different cities promoting the film and have even started the Sui Dhaga challenge where they have asked their friends from the Bollywood industry to take the challenge of threading a needle! From Ranbir Kapoor to Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, etc. everyone has taken up this fun challenge and seem to have enjoyed it too.
Varun and Anushka even shared a new song from the film, titled Sab Badhiya Hai. As per Varun’s post on his social media, the song was shot in just 8 hours! The video begins in an interesting way, with Varun (playing himself) who is trying to convince the makers to release a new song on YouTube to capitalise on the festive atmosphere around Ganesh Chaturthi. He’s also seen having a long discussion with two faceless men, who refuse to listen to him and then Varun finally storms off, with a challenge that he’ll do the song himself!
Sab Badhiya Hai is a colourful, peppy number. Varun is seen dancing in different settings.The song is sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Salman Ali and written by Varun Grover and Anu Malik. Anu Malik also composed the music. The song ends with a message from Anushka and a fun interaction between Varun and Anushka the actors and not Mauji and Mamta!
Sui Dhaga is about a young man Mauji who is encouraged by his wife Mamta to launch a business of his own. The film is directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Yash Raj Films and will hit the screens on 28 September.
