Body Language is the name of a new song by rapper Ikka, which happens to feature the talents of the musical duo, THEMXXNLIGHT. This song has been blessed with a music video that has been launched via the VYRL Originals Youtube channel. This video was released a week ago, and has already managed to garner more than 15 million views on the streaming platform.
“Tu na bole bole teri hayee body language. Tu na bole bole tera lakh dollar da necklace” are the lyrics of its hook. These are sung by Ikka in his trademark auto-tune mixed singing style. The song also features English lines recited by THEMXXNLIGHT. The twins are best known for being featured in Wiz Khalifa’s song, Rolling Papers 2. The brothers are named Akash and Krish Chandani, and were discovered via their Soundcloud uploads, which had quickly gained them a lot of popularity. They have a way with their singing, and bring in some much needed freshness to the song.
We say much needed, because Ikka’s voice gets jarring on the ears very quickly. And too much auto-tune is to be blamed for this. His voice gets to the level of sounding robotic, and detaches you from the milieu the song is trying to create.
The music video for Body Language has been shot very well. It has been directed by DirectorGifty, and features the choreography of Amit Syal. Ikka was last seen in the limelight in Amit Bhadana’s Parichay music video, to which he provided his vocals. The song was composed by Byg Byrd, and written by Amit Bhadana and Ikka. It had achieved immense popularity due to the fan following that the YouTuber possesses. At the moment, Parichay boasts of more than 30 million views.
