This video has her visiting a Mutt Ball, a gala where people gather with dogs that look just like them. The video arrives amidst startling allegations about sexual misconduct that were levelled against her by at least two male artists who have worked with her in the past. There has still been no statement on the matter from Katy’s side.
Coming back to the song, ‘Small Talk’ is about the awkwardness of a breakup. The lyrics “We went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime,” beautifully capture this sentiment. Other lines that catch your attention are, “Isn’t it weird that you’ve seen me naked. We had conversations about forever. Now, it’s about the weather, OK.”
The music video of ‘Small Talk’ follows Katy Perry arriving at the Mutt Ball with her poodle. There, she falls for a handsome man who is with his Weimaraner. This leads to sparks beginning to fly, and the tension really keeps you hooked throughout the video.
In news that will thrill Katy Perry fans in India, she is all set to perform in the country later this year. She will be coming down for the OnePlus Music Festival that will take place at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai on November 16. Dua Lipa will be a part of this gig as well.
