"Single Rehne De" says Kangana

“Single Rehne De,” says Simran aka Kangana Ranaut in a song with the same name, from her forthcoming film, Simran.

Composed by Sachin Jigar and sung by Shalmali Kholgade, the song has a Gujarati Rap. Shalmali who is a Maharashtrian, told HFT that it was a challenge to sing the song with a Gujju accent.

Director Hansal Mehta added, “I am not single but my life is majja. The song is a celebration of the film and its celebrating Simran’s life, the never give up attitude of hers.”

“All the single girls will associate with this song,” said Sachin and Jigar

Speaking about the song, Kangana said, “There are a lot of advantages of being single. Hopefully Simran will do well and I will settle down (Laughs). My problem is that people still link me up with people they did when I was 16, I am 30 now and I am still asked questions that I was asked when I was 16. If I speak its a problem and if I don’t speak its a problem. Where do I go and what do I do?”

Simran hits theatres on 15 September.
